Surf

La Saladita’s surf break is great for both beginners and intermediates. It offers a long, consistent ride. The beautiful surrounding mountains are reminiscent of Southern California, and the wave – Saladita Point- is often called a reverse Malibu, or “Ubilam”. It breaks long and consistent over a forgiving cobblestone bottom. But instead of going right like Malibu, it breaks left, making it a rare, goofy foot paradise. Meanwhile, the long crescent shaped beach is a lovely walk, especially at sunset. It’s not hard to see why even surf legend Corky Carroll chose to make La Saladita his home.
